This Privacy Policy describes how Rule Master Pro ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our railway rules reference application.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and a username. Passwords are hashed using SHA-256 before storage — we never store plain-text passwords.

Usage Data: We track the number of AI Q&A queries you make to enforce usage limits. We do not collect browsing history or reading patterns.

Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or personal device information.

3. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely on Supabase (supabase.com), a secure cloud database platform. Your session is stored locally on your device and is never shared with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Gemini AI: When you use the AI Q&A feature, your question and relevant rule text is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate an answer. Questions are not stored permanently.

Supabase: Used for user authentication and data storage.

GitHub Pages: Used to host the application and PDF files.

5. Content Disclaimer

Rule Master Pro is an unofficial reference tool for railway rules and regulations. While we strive for accuracy, all content must be verified against official printed publications issued by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India.

This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Indian Railways or the Ministry of Railways.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security practices including SHA-256 password hashing, HTTPS encryption, and secure API key management through server-side proxies. We do not store API keys on the client side.

7. User Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting the administrator. Bookmarks are stored locally on your device and can be cleared from your browser/app settings.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for railway operating staff and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
